Infill Housing Program |
SEICAA's Infill Housing Program is designed for those individuals and families making 50% or less of the Area Median Income as established by HUD. This program, a collaborative effort between SEICAA and the City of Pocatello, utilizes funds from AHP, HOME down payment assistance, and CDBG to help families get into new homes. If feasible during home construction, the Infill Program may utilize limited "sweat equity" by the homebuyer. Prospective homeowners work closely with SEICAA to secure permanent financing and complete required financial education courses. Applicants are able to select a house plan from those available that best fits the selected lot, their family needs, and their ability to pay the mortgage. General Guidelines for Potential Homeowners: 1) Household cannot exceed 50% Area Median Income as determined by HUD. 2) Must be able to legally enter into a contract. 3) Homebuyers are required to complete a Homebuyers Education Course. 4) Applicant cannot have a bankruptcy in the past 24 months. 5) "Sweat Equity" may be required, if feasible.
