Lend-a-Hand
“For many years this partnership has helped hundreds of residents receive electricity at a time when they have needed it most,” said Glen Pond, Rocky Mountain Power’s customer and community manager. “Our Idaho customers have always been generous with their donations, and we encourage continued support.”
Funds raised through Lend a Hand donations are distributed by the local agencies directly to those who need assistance in the communities where the funds are raised.
“The Lend a Hand program makes a vital difference for many people facing difficult circumstances,” said Deb Hemmert, SouthEastern Idaho Community Action Agency executive director. “Lend a Hand donations provide a needed resource to help people in these difficult economic times.”
“Rocky Mountain Power has been a steadfast supporter of at-risk families with the Lend a Hand program,” said Russell Spain, Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership executive director. “Working together and with support from Rocky Mountain Power customers, we can continue to provide a helping hand to people in financial crisis this year.”
Donations to Lend a Hand are tax deductible and can be made through donation envelopes in February Rocky Mountain Power bills. Rocky Mountain Power customers also can add a fixed monthly donation to their electric bill. To enroll in the fixed donation program, call toll free at 888-221-7070.
