SEICAA Congratulates 393rd GED Graduate

Category: General

SEICAA's GED program has recently graduated its 393rd graduate and to celebrate that, it seemed appropriate to share a success story.

A young man came to SEICAA asking for assistance to obtain his GED. He dropped out of school as a teen to help his parents financially, as they were struggling to gain stable employment. At the time he asked SEICAA for help, he had two young daughters and he wanted to be a good role model for them, and he wanted to be able to provide for them.

He completed his GED with better than average scores within 6 weeks, and he was asked to be a speaker at the GED graduation ceremony. He then enrolled in the START program at I.S.U. and completed the ESTEC program with a 4.0 GPA. He was one of the first participants to complete the START program and upon completing the ESTEC program he immediately obtained gainful employment.

He and his family, as well as the employees at SEICAA are very proud of this amazing young man's accomplishments. Congratulations to all GED graduates!
