Overview
SEICAA’s Homebuyer Essentials Financial Literacy Program is designed to teach participants the fundamentals of financial management and prepare them for homeownership, with an intense focus on home maintenance and retention. SEICAA achieves this goal through a three step program:
SEICAA offers one-on-one Credit Counseling for those struggling with high debt and/or severe credit issues. SEICAA offers Credit Counseling at NO COST to participants.
SEICAA offers Foreclosure Intervention and Default Counseling to those households who are delinquent on their mortgage payment, or in the early stages of the Foreclosure Process. SEICAA does not provide mitigation services; however, does refer those interested to Pocatello Neighborhood Housing Services for this service.
SEICAA extends Homebuyer Essentials to include Post-Foreclosure Financial Counseling for individuals facing crisis after a foreclosure.
Workshops and courses are available throughout southeast Idaho.
